Angela Logan has specialized in Vascular Access for over twenty years. Her nursing career began in 1995 working in a 1000 bed hospital and soon became an integral part of an IV team that placed 9000 PICC’s annually. After moving to North Carolina in 2008 she again joined a large hospital IV team. She received her CRNI certification in 2010, was trained to place internal jugular CVC’s and then in 2013 received her VA-BC certification. She would go on to become an Independent Contractor/Consultant and also a Clinical Specialist for an industry leading manufacturer of vascular access devices.  Angela has taught many doctors and nurses how to place vascular access devices using ultrasound guided needle insertion along with tip location systems including tip confirmation using ECG technology. An advocate for patient care, she has personally placed over 10,000 PICC lines and trained hundreds of health care professionals the proper technique for IV therapy procedures as well as the care and maintenance of vascular access devices.
