Heather Addy RN, BSN, CRNI, VA-BC

Heather Addy has been an active nurse since earning her degree in 2002. She has experience in medical-surgical care, pediatrics, emergency room, provider office, clinical informatics, infusion therapy, vascular access, as well as nursing management.  In 2009, Heather discovered her passion for infusion therapy and vascular access. She recognized the value of certification to validate her skills and knowledge, thus obtaining her Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) and becoming board certified in vascular access (VA-BC). At a local hospital, Heather quickly emerged as the resident IV expert as the Lead PICC Nurse providing vascular access consultations, PICC/Midline insertions, as well as ultrasound guided peripheral IV insertions.

As a member of the Infusion Nurses Society (INS) and Association for Vascular Access (AVA), Heather recognizes that providing convenient, affordable, quality care is imperative. She is dedicated to upholding evidenced based practices while improving patient satisfaction and patient outcomes.

In her free time, Heather is a busy wife and mother of 4 children. She enjoys being a spectator at her children’s many athletic activities, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with friends and family.
