Jackie Bernal is the President and CEO of Epicc Vascular-Corpus Christi. She is a life-long resident of the “jewel city” of the Gulf Coast and daughter of George and Dora Bernal her siblings are Veronica, Hector and George.  Jackie is extremely knowledgeable of the Health Industry that she services. With over 20 years of professional nursing service, Jackie’s broad experiences in nursing; ranging from ICU and Pediatric Intensive Care to being a member of Vascular Access Teams for major medical centers and the home health industry. This has allowed her to gain unique perspectives in the application of Vascular Access Services.

Jackie was honored with the Daisy Award for Nursing Excellence, awarded to Nurses for their Leadership qualities and who are inspired to do their very best and are seen as role-models for their caring behaviors. These leaders provide a setting where compassion is valued and treat patients and their families with deep humanity. In addition, Jackie maintains the highest levels of practice excellence thru her participation in the Infusion Nurse Society.

Her commitment to nursing excellence, ease of access to care and quality of service are the goals she sets out with every morning. “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing it RIGHT.”
